It’s good to try to learn to do many things in life well. Besides the obvious benefits, say, in learning how to cook, we also learn to appreciate those who are good cooks – and good caregivers, good teachers, good farmers. We can’t all be great artists, great baseball players, great musicians, great comedians, great individuals who can take a busload of children on a field trip and back, but we can all increase our appreciation for those who achieve that greatness by trying to do what they do and getting a glimpse of how difficult it is.
